About me:

I enjoy teaching all styles of music, and beginners up to Royal Conservatory of Music Level 8. Exam Preparation is available for both Practical Piano and Theory. The students I have prepared for exams received marks that are above the national average. 

 

Since 2015, I have been using a program called “Tales of a Musical Journey by Ukrainian Pedagogue Irina Gorin. The method is based on principles of the Russian School of Music, as well as Ms. Gorin’s extensive research in the area of elementary pedagogy. The contents are presented via an appealing story and props for young beginners, yet still offer a depth of knowledge and sound technique for older beginners as well.

 

I seek to give students positive feedback and encouragement at each lesson. The pace of lessons is tailored to the individual needs of each student. My goal is to equip students with all the skills and knowledge they will need to make music for a lifetime. 

 

I have been teaching piano for 38 years.
